Liquor Commission To Weigh Barrel & Heritage's Liquor License Request
Barrel & Heritage, once known as Tasting deVine, is hoping to add specialty tequila to its offerings for consumption at home or onsite.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Customers at Barrel & Heritage (formerly Tasting deVine) may soon be able to buy specialty tequila for consumption onsite or at home, as the city's liquor commission is set to consider a request for a change to its ordinance that defines the shop's liquor license.
Currently, Barrel & Heritage holds a class S-1 liquor license, which allows the bottle shop and tasting room to sell wine and beer for consumption onsite, along with bourbon flights, single pours and old-fashioneds. Shoppers can also buy bottled wine, beer and bourbon to take home.
The tequila offerings at Barrel & Heritage would include options from Manuscrito and Mal Bien, according to liquor commission documents. The tequila would be added to the shop's small batch offerings, with customers permitted to consume no more than 3 ounces of specialty tequila onsite. The same condition applies to Barrel & Heritage onsite whiskey servings.
