Cops Write Over 70 Tickets During Increased Patrols In Naperville

The crackdown was part of a statewide safety initiative during the Thanksgiving holiday.

NAPERVILLE, IL — More than 70 tickets were issued as Naperville police increased patrols for their Thanksgiving safety initiative.

According to police, the following citations were issued during the safety campaign.

  • 28 seatbelt or safety seat tickets
  • 15 speeding tickets
  • 12 tickets for using electronic devices
  • 19 miscellaneous traffic tickets

The increased enforcement was part of the statewide "Click It or Ticket" and "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" initiatives.
