Local commercial construction contractors are encouraged to attend a Job Fair hosted by DuPage County on March 13.
DuPage County recently awarded a Job Order Contract to KBR, Inc., an engineering, construction and services company. Through the contract, KBR is seeking qualified commercial subcontractors for a variety of local projects. The job fair will include information on how local contractors can obtain work through the KBR contract.
“During these tough economic times when construction work remains at record lows, DuPage County is proud to offer this job fair for our local contractors. By teaming up with KBR, qualified contractors will have the ability to compete for work without the official red tape normally associated with bidding on a project. It is a win, win situation for everyone involved,” said Paul Fichtner, chairman of the DuPage County Finance Committee.
