Edward Cancer Center is offering weekly education classes for breast cancer patients after lumpectomy, mastectomy, reconstruction and lymph node dissection surgery.
Edward Hospital occupational therapists will:
- Provide information on post- surgery concerns
- Discuss the effects of additional breast cancer treatments after surgery
- Review lymphedema, including what it is, prevention, signs and symptoms, stages, and treatment
The goal is to improve each person’s general well-being after breast surgery.

The classes will be held every Monday, beginning May 23, 1 – 2 p.m. at the Edward Cancer Center on the campus of Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St. in Naperville.
