Keys to Keeping Your Home

Illinois House Rep. Tom Cross (R-Oswego) and his Senior Advisory Council invite area residents to a FREE seminar on August 15 called the “Keys to Keeping Your Home,” offering tips on dealing with your mortgage lender and avoiding foreclosure.

The foreclosure crisis doesn’t appear to be recovering very fast. According Forbes.com, “Illinois home foreclosure activity rose 4 percent in June compared to the previous month.”  Also, according to RealtyTrac.com in June 2011, Will County had 737 properties in foreclosure and Kendall County had 369 properties in foreclosure.

“We will have several experts on hand at our free seminar to help residents with their questions about foreclosure and what they can do before it is too late,” Cross said.
