Shakespeare in the Park: Love's Labour's Lost

The Midsummer Theatre Troupe will perform William Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 15, in Naperville’s Central Park.

“The Midsummer Theatre Troupe’s talented actors make Shakespeare accessible to everyone, whether or not they are familiar with his plays,” said Park District Program Manager Betty Roth.  “With movement, music, and well-placed emphasis, the actors bring to life the language of Shakespeare so that people of all ages can catch the humor,” she said.

“Love’s Labour’s Lost” tells the story of a princess, a king, and their respective companions, with several humorous subplots unfolding as they fall in love.
