Naperville Man Accused Of Stabbing Ex-Wife Over 30 Times
Zokir Kudratov, 55, is being held in Will County Jail in connection with the murder of his ex-wife.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Prosecutors say a Naperville man charged in the murder of his ex-wife, Rahima Kudratova, stabbed her more than 30 times, according to court documents. Zokir Kudratov, 55, is being held at Will County Jail in connection with the July 6 murder.
Police were called to the home in the 2500 block of Saddlebrook Court around 9 a.m. by a man who reported that a person inside the home was dead. Officers got to the scene and reported finding blood on the stairs in the house.

Kudratova was found in an upstairs bedroom with "between 30 and 35 stab wounds to her body - mostly to her left side," court documents said. She also had "defensive wounds to her left arm and hand," the documents stated.
According to prosecutors, Kudratov, who was intoxicated at the time of the incident, began stabbing Kudratova with a kitchen knife after he heard her use a disparaging term to refer to his current wife.

Per court documents, Kudradtova and Kudratov's teen child and another relative rushed to Kudratova's room after hearing noises. Kudratov is accused of stabbing Kudratova in front of the teen at least three times.
Kudratova was taken to Edward Hospital and pronounced dead just after 1:30 p.m.
Kudratov is set to be arraigned July 25.
