Naperville Man Found Dead in Bolingbrook Parking Lot: Bolingbrook Police
Bolingbrook police responded to Jewel-Osco in Bolingbrook Tuesday night to help locate a person who was thought to be suicidal, according to reports.

A 43-year-old Naperville man was found dead in his car Tuesday night after Bolingbrook police responded to a Bolingbrook parking lot in an attempt to find a person who was thought to be suicidal.

The incident took place at 8:35 p.m. at 1200 W. Boughton Rd., near Boughton Road and Weber Road in a Jewel-Osco parking lot in Bolingbrook.

The preliminary investigation of the death appeared to be a suicide, according to police. The man was pronounced dead at 10:55 p.m.
Officers cleared the area when they found a suspicious object near the body. The Bolingbrook Fire Department evaluated and handled the hazardous material concern. The object was later identified as a helium tank.
The incident remains under investigation and police are finalizing notification to next of kin. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
