Police Blotter: Fleeing Police, DUI, Man Speeds 40 MPH Over Limit

Speeding 40 MPH over limit
Patrick Lee Pippenger, 22, of the 1400 block of Green Lake Drive in Aurora, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. near Trade and Ogden Avenue, said. He was charged with following too close, speeding 40 MPH over the limit and failure to give a signal. His bail was $2,000.

- Tyler Daniel Thomson, 23, of the 3000 block of Quincy Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and South Route 59, police said. He was charged with speeding and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
- Rachel Ann Seeler, 24, of the 4700 block of Lake Valley Drive in Lisle, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. near 7th Avenue and North Washington Street, police said. She was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. Her bail was $3,000.
Suspended/revoked license
Tabish Ahmed Khan, 24, of the 2300 block of Bilter Road in Aurora, was arrested at 2:39 a.m. near North Route 59 and Ferry road, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, driving on a suspended/revoked license, and squealing/screeching tires. His bail was $2,000.

Fleeing police
Valaree Carole Smith-Hussain, 54, of the 5500 block of South Shields Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. near 26th and California in Chicago, police said. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, resisting a peace officer, theft, reckless driving and fleeing police. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
Retail theft
Ana Maria Barajas, 21, of the 4400 block of Blackhawk Lane in Lisle, was arrested at 3:07 p.m. in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. She was charged with violation bail bond/family member and retail theft. She was transported to DuPage County Jail.
Warrant arrest
Pervis Lavell Craig, 28, of the 300 block of Richmond Drive in Romeoville, was arrested at 6:28 p.m. in the 200 block of North Whispering Hills Road, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bond was $1,250.
Car keyed
A vehicle was keyed in the 1000 block of North Mill Street, police said.
Theft
A power cord and loose change were taken overnight in the 1800 block of Michigan Avenue, police said.
Seared hang and slide
A playground hang and slide was damaged after the plastic handle and end caps were melted in the 1200 block of Redfield Road, police said
School stalls defaced
Three bathroom stalls were criminally defaced at Lincoln Junior High School in the 1300 block of Olympus Drive, police said .
Lost ring
A diamond engagement ring was reported lost in the 400 block of Jackson Avenue, police said.
