Police Blotter: Possession of a Controlled Substance, Retail Theft

Retail theft

Simik Tamazian, 50, of the 10 S 100 block of Alma Lane, was arrested at 1:36 p.m. in the 700 block of Fort Hill Drive, Naperville Police Department said. He was charged with retail theft. His bond was $150.

Possession of a controlled substance

Shawn M. Monchunski, 32, of the 1200 block of New Lenox in Joliet, was arrested at 8:49 a.m. in the 1100 block of Royal Saint George Drive, police said. He was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a narcotic instrument. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
