Police Blotter: Scratched Vehicles, Stolen Wallets and a Peeper

Criminal Trespass
Carl Tom Becker, 64, of the 2100 block of West Galena, Aurora, was arrested at 10:22 p.m. in the 20 block of East Chicago Avenue, where said he was charged with criminal trespass to land. His bail was $1,500.
False Identification
Lamar Thornton Johnson, 19, of the 1700 block of Fredericksburg Lane, Aurora, was arrested at 1:33 p.m. in the 1600 block of Kiowa and Ishnala drives, police said. He was charged with not wearing a seat belt and possession of a false identification card. His bond was $120.
Theft
A 39-year-old woman in the first block of East Chicago Avenue reported a wristlet and its contents were stolen from a bar stool at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Lost property
A 42-year-old man said he lost a diamond ring and $50 cash between 12:45 and 12:55 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of South Route 59, police said. The ring was valued at $1,800. The man said he thinks the property was lost at the Fox Valley Currency Exchange and he might have been pick-pocketed.
Vehicle burglary
- A 53-year-old man in the 1800 block of Paddington Avenue reported a wallet and cell phone were stolen out of an unlocked vehicle between 9 p.m. Sunday and 6:45 a.m. Monday, police said.
- A 30-year-old man in the first block of East Chicago Avenue reported someone entered an unlocked vehicle on the second level of the parking garage and stole $270 out of a wallet left inside the vehicle, police said.
Criminal damage
- Police said a 28-year-old man in the 500 block of Milton Drive reported that a key was used to scratch an obscene drawing on the trunk of his vehicle between 9 and 11:30 a.m.
- A 49-year-old woman in the 800 block of North Ellsworth Street reported that the paint on the driver’s side of her vehicle was scratched between 7 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. Friday, police said.
- A 71-year-old man in the 2600 block of West 75th Street reported that a sharp object was used to make swirl scratches along the entire surface of his vehicle’s trunk between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday, police said.
Peeping Tom
A 28-year-old man in the 1500 block of Fairway Drive reported a Peeping Tom at about 11:05 p.m., police said.
