Police Blotter: Theft at a Wedding, Damaged Bird Houses

Suspended license

  • Jason A. Tolle, 36, of the 40W200 block of Ancient Oak Court, St. Charles, was arrested at 3:55 p.m. in the 1400 block of Naperville-Wheaton Road and East Ogden Avenue, where said he was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.
  • Manuel Rudolph Monreal, 35, of the 1300 block of Olympus Drive, was arrested at 7:16 p.m. in the 2600 block of Leverenz Road, where police said he was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, driving without insurance, title/registration offenses and on a failure to appear warrant. His bail was $2,000.

Warrant arrest

Gerald Matthew Humphrey, 20, of the 4200 block of Drexel Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 2:37 p.m. at Ring Road and West 87th Street, where police said he was charged on a warrant for possession of stolen property from the Aurora Police Department. His bail was $5,000.

Criminal damage

A 58-year-old man in the 300 block of West Ogden Avenue reported that three birdhouses—two plastic and one wooden—were damaged overnight, police said.

Theft

A 24-year-old woman in the 3700 block of White Eagle Drive reported someone stole her purse while she was at a wedding reception between 6 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.
