Residents Displaced After Fire Breaks Out In Naperville Home

NAPERVILLE, IL — Residents were displaced from their home on Winchester Court after a fire broke out Monday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the 1300 block of Winchester Court just before 1:30 p.m. for a report of a fire, and arrived at the scene to see smoke inside the house via an open front door. Two residents had safely escaped the home and no injuries were reported.

Fire crews were able to contain the blaze within 20 minutes. It's estimated the fire, the cause of which is under investigation, resulted in $400,000 in damage to the home.
