Nolan: I have always had a love for animals and knew from early on that I wanted to work with dogs and cats.
Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger in five words, what would those words be?
Nolan: Pets deserve kindness and love.
Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your job?
Nolan: Some of the biggest challenges is dealing with dogs that have not had great experiences with groomers or have been abused in the past.
Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Nolan: The most satisfying part of my job is when a customer sees their dog for the first time after they are groomed. I love to watch people gush over how beautiful their pets look, smell and feel after a grooming.

Patch: You’re not the only person in this business. How do you distinguish yourself from the others?
Nolan: Everything we do has the pets' and clients' best interest in mind. We will discuss other grooming options if we feel a request is inappropriate or harmful to the coat on a particular breed. We also make sure that you know up front what you are getting for your money. We are competitively priced and have an open- concept salon so that you can watch the groomers work and see that we keep the facilities extremely clean.
Patch: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given when it comes to success?
Nolan: I was always taught that if you work hard and love what you do you will be successful.
Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about?
Nolan: We have a few new products and services that we are beginning to offer. The first is a deep de-shedding conditioning treatment that soaks in to loosen extra hair and can be really helpful in getting more of the undercoat hair out so that you have less shedding at home. We are also offering nail polish and several colors of semi-permanent hair dye that we can apply to the tail or ears for a special day, holidays or just because.
Patch: Do you have any events coming up in your community?
Nolan: Celebrating our 10th anniversary this October.
