The Will County Children's Advocacy Center was founded in 1995 by State's Attorney James Glasgow to partner with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) comprised of law enforcement, DCFS investigators, medical personnel, prosecutors, and Will County CAC forensic interviewers, family advocates, and trauma therapists to respond to reports of severe physical abuse, sexual abuse, commercial exploitation, neglect, and exposure to violence of children, in Will County, Illinois.

NEW LENOX, IL — Three suspects are in custody after a burglary at a cell phone store in the early morning hours Saturday, New Lenox police said. Police were called around 3:30 a.m. to the AT&amp;T store in the 700 block of Route 30. Three male suspects forced entry into adjoining Curaleaf dispensary, before then entering the cell phone store, police said. Cell phones and money were stolen. No alarms went off notifying the police department of the burglary, police said. The incident was falsely reported on social media as an armed robbery of nearby Gas N Wash, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
