
New Lenox—The "Taste of Memoir Writing Workshop" gets rave reviews from participants at the Jan. 25 event at the New Lenox Library, 120 Veterans Parkway, New Lenox, IL 60451. Participants lauded professional writer and presenter Ann C. Piasecki, MA, for organization, clarity and thoroughness. The workshop is slated to be broadcast later this month on New Lenox Cable Television Channel 6.
A full five-hour workshop is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. till noon and again from 6:30-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16 and Feb. 23 at the Manhattan Park District, 205 Gustafson St., Manhattan, IL, 60442. To register, call the Manhattan Park District at 815.478.3324.

These Memoir Writing Workshops are fun and lively; they feature era music, memory exercises and more.
