A Chihuahua beauty pageant has been added to New Lenox's new event Food Fight: Taco Fest, on July 15.
NEW LENOX, IL — The little guys of New Lenox are about to get their chance to shine.
Chihuahua owners are invited to sign up their spicy little ones for their very own beauty pageant, to take place during the Village's newest event, Food Fight: Taco Fest on July 15.
"Enjoy some delicious tacos and watch as our cute, furry contestants walk the red carpet!" the Village invites.

The chihuahua beauty pageant will take place at 3:45 p.m. Anyone with a chihuahua who is interested in entering them in the chihuahua beauty pageant, can find instructions online.
A couple of things they'll need to know about your dog:

Everyone will have to play nice. Please note all contestants must be non-aggressive toward humans as well as other dogs. Dogs showing aggression will be disqualified and asked to leave.
