Teen Injured When Dirtbike Hits Car At Nelson And Delaney: NLPD
The crash happened Sunday around 5:30 p.m.
NEW LENOX, IL — A teen driver of a dirtbike was seriously injured Sunday evening, when police say the dirtbike struck a vehicle.
The teen on the dirtbike was heading west on Delaney Road, when it struck a car driving north on Nelson Road, at approximately 5:30 p.m., according to New Lenox Police Chief Louis Alessandrini.
The intersection was closed for several hours while police investigated. It reopened just before 9 p.m.
