Baldermann said the series will no longer be called Triple Play, but instead will go by the New Lenox Summer Concert Series. The number of acts each year might change, Baldermann said, so the new name leaves room for that.
"For 15 years we have had the Triple Play concert series, hosting numerous national and international acts," he said. "We’ve been so fortunate to have had so many incredibly talented artists take our Commons stage. One of the requests we receive year after year is for the ability to buy one show instead of three.

"Because of our reputation in the business, we are able to attract some legendary artists this year, and each show will be sold separately."
The ticket price will be higher, set at $60 each, and sales begin for New Lenox residents in Apri with exact date yet to be determined.
Baldermann proactively braced for the crowd's reaction to a higher ticket price.
"... compared to what these artists are getting in other venues," he said, "we continue to have the best deal in music entertainment (not to mention free parking and $5 beer)!"
Additional shows and acts will be announced as they are finalized.
