Football Season 2023: Lincoln-Way West Warriors Schedule Set

NEW LENOX, IL — There's still plenty of summer left, but high school football fans are already looking ahead. The Illinois High School Association has released schedules. Lincoln-Way West High School Warriors will start their season at home August 25, against Plainfield Central High School.

A nine-game regular season runs through the end of October before the postseason culminates with state championship games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24–25. The state final games have been moved to Illinois State University's Hancock Stadium in Bloomington-Normal. ISU will host the finals for five years.

Coached by Luke Lokanc, the Warriors follow up a 3-6 season in 2022.
