Football Season 2023: Providence Catholic HS Celtics Schedule Set

The Celtics return to action August 25. Find out their full schedule.

NEW LENOX, IL — There's still plenty of summer left, but high school football fans are already looking ahead. The Illinois High School Association has released schedules. Providence Catholic High School Celtics will start their season away on August 25, against Lake Central High School.

A nine-game regular season runs through the end of October before the postseason culminates with state championship games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24–25. The state final games have been moved to Illinois State University's Hancock Stadium in Bloomington-Normal. ISU will host the finals for five years.

Coached by Tyler Plantz, the Celtics follow up a 9-5 season in 2022.
