Frankfort Man Arrested After Car Break-In: New Lenox PD

The incident happened Saturday, April 13 at Elm and Root streets. The 32-year-old Frankfort man faces several charges.

NEW LENOX, IL — A Frankfort man caught allegedly trying to burglarize cars in New Lenox was arrested on criminal trespass, obstruction of justice, and drug charges April 13, according to police reports.

Christopher M. Page, 32, of Frankfort, was reportedly seen pulling on car door handles at Elm and Root streets in New Lenox the evening of April 13. When police arrived, they found Page allegedly rummaging through a car that was not his, police said. The owner of the vehicle told police he had not given Page permission to be inside the vehicle.

Page then gave police a false name, according to reports. In learning his real identity, police discovered an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Cook County. The warrant had no bond, police said.

Page was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody and transported to the New Lenox Police Department, before later being transferred to the Will County jail.
