L-W Central Honor Roll Knight : 581 High Honors and 64 Illinois State Scholars
Lincoln-Way Central High School Principal Steve Provis welcomes honor roll students and their parents to a night of academic celebration.
Lincoln-Way Central hosted its Honor Roll Knight on March 12 to recognize academic achievement.
“Tonight we honor those who have excelled in the classroom. It is no mistake that academically at Lincoln-Way Central we rank in the top Illinois. We are 55th out of 668 schools in the state,” stated Dr. Steve Provis, principal for Lincoln-Way Central.
Principal Provis continued telling the over 1,200 students and parents that attended the evening, “Our kids are competitors. Tonight we honor our students but we also honor you the parents and grandparents. On behalf of the entire staff here at Central, I would like to thank you – parents and grandparents - for allowing us the privilege of working with your child on a daily basis. We are blessed as educators to work in a community where kids come first and student achievement is our No.1 priority.”
