Lincoln-Way Girls Gymnastics Team Wins 4th Straight SouthWest Suburban Conference
Kaila Pohrte, Lincoln-Way West High School sophomore, is named All-Around Champion.
New Lenox's Kaila Pohrte was named "all-around champion" Jan. 26 after the Lincoln-Way Girls Gymnastics team won its fourth straight SouthWest Suburban Conference at Homewood-Flossmoor High School, according to a SunTimesMedia story.
Pohrte scored an all-time LW high of 35,200 points. She won the vault competition and scored high on the balance beam, uneven bars and floor exercise. Overall Lincoln-Way scored 133,475 points. To find out more about the "historic day," look for details in the SunTimesMedia.
