Live Set To Close Out New Lenox Triple Play Series
Tickets for the July 22 show still available for $45 each.
NEW LENOX, IL — New Lenox's 2023 Triple Play concert series is set to wrap Saturday, July 22, with iconic rock band Live taking the stage at the Commons. Passes are still available, and discounted to $45, the Village announced last week.
Led by frontman Ed Kowalczyk and known for its hits like "Lightning Crashes," "I Alone," and All Over You," the band has sold more than 22 million albums worldwide. The band's 1994 "Throwing Copper" album—with "Lightning Crashes," and "I Alone," in the song list—reached no. 1 in Billboard's Top 200 and is still considered by many as an alt-rock classic, more than two decades later. The band celebrated the album's 25th anniversary in 2019, with a special edition.
Live follows up performances from The Fray and Jewel, both in June.
