NEW LENOX, IL — A New Lenox resident's dream of owning a business in town came true Friday when LGM Balloon Decor held its ribbon cutting ceremony.

A crowd of family and friends, fellow business owners, and Village officials came out to help LGM Owner Stephanie Marquardt celebrate the new business, which offers a range of custom balloon decor offerings, from helium bouquets to balloon arches to balloon sculptures.

"It's kind of surreal, to be honest. I don't think it's hit me yet," Marquardt said of her company's opening.
