New Lenox Man, 25, Dies After Crashing Car Into Tree: State Police

The single-car crash happened early the morning of Sunday, May 26, in Joliet, the Will County Coroner's Office said.

JOLIET, IL — A 25-year-old New Lenox man died early Sunday after the car he was driving crashed in Joliet, the Will County Coroner's Office reported Tuesday.

Illinois State Police say that Angelo Lujano-Pagliuca was driving east on Route 30, just west of Cherry Hill Road in Joliet, when he drove off the road and hit a tree just before 2 a.m. Lujano-Pagliuca was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:40 a.m.

An autopsy was performed on Sunday, May 26. Final cause and manner of death are pending autopsy, police and toxicological reports.
