New Lenox Mustangs Football Scores Big with Village Board
The 2012 New Lenox Mustangs Heavyweights Football Team was spotlighted at the Village Board meeting.
The New Lenox Mustangs Heavyweights Youth Football Team was honored at the regular Monday night board meeting for their National Championship win over Thanksgiving in Daytona Beach, FL.
The 14-year-old division team won all three games and took home the National Champions trophy for their division. The finished up the season with an "unprecedented" 18-0 record, said Mayor Tim Baldermann.
The New Lenox Mustangs Heavyweights were coached by Bob Schaper, Sean Plarski, Kyle Plarski, Bill Nowak, Matt Warren and Neal Dahlman. The Team Moms were: Lara Mitchel and Kelly Koscinski.

Mustang Heavyweight Football Team members are:
Connor Lowman, Deven Miller, Jimmie Olds, Kody Waxweiler, Zion Alexander, Nick Barker, Conor Rybarczyk, Rex Stengele, Jake Malone, Jeremiah Lindell, Camaron Harvey, Nick Barton, Asim Williams, Will Bauknect, mario Rodrigues, Jake McShane, Hunter Dauparas, Victor Schnayer, Cam Post, Dakota Jerman, Alekos Mitchel, Griffin Lawrence, Luke garwood, Ryan Burggren, Nicholas Skentzos, Connor Watson, Michael Cepolski, and Laddie Skarecky.

Mustang Cheerleaders for the Heavyweight Division are:
Monique Howe, Rachel Paniak, Emma Tums, Kiley Bourg, Kelcie Burdiak, Amanda DeVito. Alyte Katilius and Katelyn McGuire. The cheerleaders were coached by Bre Van Eck and Be Mohan, Team Moms were Ericka Howe and Meryl Paniak.
Baldermann and the board applauded the team for its outstanding season and the Mustang organization for its 48-year-old program.
