Passes For Live At New Lenox Triple Play Now Discounted: Mayor
The final show in the Triple Play series is set for July 22.
NEW LENOX, IL — Tickets for the last show in New Lenox's Triple Play concert series are now available for half price, Mayor Tim Baldermann said Thursday.
Closing out the series on July 22 will be iconic rock band Live. Known for its hits like "Lightning Crashes," "I Alone," and All Over You," the band has sold more than 22 million albums worldwide. The band's 1994 "Throwing Copper" album—with "Lightning Crashes," and "I Alone," in the song list—reached no. 1 in Billboard's Top 200 and is still considered by many as an alt-rock classic, more than two decades later. The band celebrated the album's 25th anniversary in 2019, with a special edition.
Nearly 3,000 tickets have been sold for the series, Mayor Tim Baldermann told Patch. Passes for the last show are now available at $45 each—a discount from the original, all-inclusive pass of $90 for all three shows.

"... when we sign contracts with artists for the Triple Play Concert Series, individual ticket sales are not part of the agreement," Mayor Tim Baldermann said Thursday. "However, with the Live concert on July 22 being the final show in the series, we were able to reach an agreement with the artist to have individual tickets available for sale for $45 each."
Tickets can be purchased at Village Hall, 1 Veterans Parkway, during normal working hours, and will also be available the day of the show beginning at 4 p.m. at Gate 1.
