Man Slashed in the Face Outside Starbucks
A traffic altercation preceded the knife attack, police said.

NEW LENOX, IL — A man was slashed in the face during an argument outside the New Lenox Starbucks.
A police officer responding to the knife attack found a man bleeding from his face behind the Starbucks shortly before 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
“The victim advised the officer that he was arguing with an unknown subject over a traffic altercation and the subject pulled out a knife and cut his left cheek and then left the scene,” police said.
The wounded man was taken to Silver Cross Hospital.
The slasher had a ponytail and was driving a dark blue or black Honda CR-V.
