Underage Drinking Results in Aggravated DUI and 3 other Tickets: Police Blotter

SATURDAY, DEC. 22

Underage drinking and an aggravated DUI charge

William Garcia, 19, Joliet, was stopped by police for reportedly driving recklessly in the 2300 block of E. Route  30. While investigating, police discovered the driver had been drinking. A computer check of his background revealed that he was also operating an uninsured vehicle and driving without a valid registration. He was additionally charged with underage consumption of alcohol. He was ticketed for all four violations and taken to the Will County Jail.

Driving on a suspended license 

Noe Alday, 19, Joliet, was stopped in his car in a random registration check in the 1900 block of Silver Cross Boulevard. A computer check of his information showed that he was driving on a suspended license and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was ticketed for both offenses.

THURSDAY, DEC. 20

Burglary to trailer

Police say someone from the 600 block of Oxford Court complained that a burglar broke into a locked trailer on his property, taking some tools and supplies.

FRIDAY, DEC. 21

$200 worth of unauthorized purchases put on credit card

Police say someone from the 1100 block of Cedar Road filed a complaint that $200 in unauthorized purchases were made with her credit card. Police are investigating the matter.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 19

Figurines stolen

Police say someone filed a theft complaint because a box of figurines was stolen from the back door of her business in the 1800 block of E. Route 30. Police are investigating the incident.

MONDAY, DEC. 17

Ticketed for driving on a suspended license

Brittany Collins, 20, Joliet, was stopped in a car in the 1500 block of Route 30 during a random registration check. A computer check of her information showed that her license had been suspended. She was also cited for driving an uninsured vehicle.
