Village Holds Contest For 'Best Of New Lenox' Photo Calendar

NEW LENOX, IL — Scroll through your camera rolls or clean off your lens, New Lenox.

The Village is inviting residents to enter its first annual photo contest depicting "The Best Of New Lenox," with winning photos to be compiled in a 2024 calendar.

• Anyone is eligible to participate. Each participant may submit up to a maximum of four images. All images should be taken within New Lenox.
• Submissions: All photos must be in color and horizontal format and must be accompanied by a caption describing the image as well as the photographer's name.
• All entries must be a minimum of 2700 x 3600 pixels in resolution at a 9 x 12 size.
• Entries may be submitted in person at the New Lenox Village Hall or sent on a thumb drive via US Mail.
• All mailed entries become the property of the Village of New Lenox and will not be returned.
• Entries for the 2024 calendar must be postmarked no later than Sept. 30.

Twelve photos will be selected and all winning photographers will be notified prior to Dec. 1, 2023.
