Tens of thousands are expected to attend the event along with expected protestors outside the event. The Chicago Police Department (CPD) will be providing extra police for the event, along with the FBI, CIA, US Secret Service & Cook County Sheriff's Office, as well as police from surrounding areas who will be supporting the expanded law enforcement presence in and around the United Center.

Traffic will be re-routed when Harris & Walz are being taken to the event, so expect delays if you plan on being in the area. Public transportation or parking garages will be the best bet to get around, along with ride sharing services, but getting close to the United Center will no doubt be problematic via a vehicle.
