Morton Grove Woman Blows Tire, Lands in Dry Pond

After her tire blew out, a 26-year-old lost control of her SUV, crossed oncoming traffic lanes and landed in a dry detention pond in Glenview.

A 26-year-old Morton Grove woman crashed her SUV into a dry detention pond Tuesday night in Glenview after one of her tires blew out, according to the Glenview Announcements.

The woman was headed northbound on Waukegan Road near Harmony Lane when she lost control, crossing two southbound lanes and striking a PACE bus sign before coming to a stop in the pond, the Announcements reports.
