2025 Sectionals Champs (Steven Tobin / Chicago Area News)

The IHSA held Sectionals at Glenbard West HS Friday Night, with a dozen teams competing in the four female events of floor, vault, balance beam & uneven bars.

The team from Wheaton (W. Warrenville South) took home first place with a team score of 142.5250, with Roselle (Lake Park) coming in second with a team score of 141.2750.

Individual top honors went to Naomi Campbell (Sr.) of Villa Park (Willowbrook) with a total score of 36.2750, edging out second place competitor Melania Veselovsky (So.) of Elmhurst (York) who tallied a total score of 36.150.

The price at the door was $8 per attendee, with a one-dollar discount if tickets were purchased on-line prior to the event.
