NSSC Joins the Ranks of “Best & Brightest Companies to Work For®”

North Shore Senior Center (NSSC) is proud to announce it has been recognized as a “Best & Brightest” company to work for the second year in a row.

According to the National Association for Business Resources (NABR), only companies that distinguish themselves as having the most innovative business acuteness and human resource practices can be bestowed this honor.

“We believe that when our employees feel supported, inspired, and valued, they are better able to serve our community with compassion and excellence,” said Tish Rudnicki, MSW, executive director of NSSC.

“Earning the Best & Brightest recognition for a second year affirms the strength of our culture and our commitment to making NSSC not only a great place to work, but a place where people can thrive.”

The winning companies were assessed by an independent research firm, which reviewed several key measures relative to other nationally recognized winners.

The categories applicants were scored on include Compensation, Benefits, and Employee Solutions; Creative Wellness and Wellbeing Solutions, Employee Enrichment, Engagement, and Retention; Employee Education and Development; Recruitment and Selection; Employee Achievement and Recognition; Communication and Shared Vision; Civility and Inclusion; Work-Life Blend; Community Initiatives and Corporate Responsibility; and Leadership, Strategy, and Company Performance.

“This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the dedication we put into creating a workplace where people feel respected, supported, and connected,” said Meredith Wach, director of Human Resources at NSSC.
