Pedestrian, 89, Fatally Struck By Car In Morton Grove: Police
Police said the driver of the vehicle involved is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
MORTON GROVE, IL — An 89-year-old Skokie man was killed Friday after being struck by a car while walking in Morton Grove. Boris A. Nudelman was pronounced dead after being taken to Lutheran General Hospital with serious injuries.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 6:03 a.m. in the 6800 block of Dempster. An initial investigation revealed that a 2025 Volkswagen Jetta was traveling eastbound on Dempster when it struck Nudelman, who was attempting to cross the street walking southbound. Police said the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
Dempster Street was closed for a period following the crash.

The NORTAF Major Crash Assistance Team is assisting with the investigation. The issuance of traffic citations or filing of criminal charges will be determined at the conclusion. Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to call Morton Grove police at 847-470-5200.
