Dear Niles Business Owners and Residents,

On December 23, 2021, the Cook County Department of Public Health issued an order requiring establishments that serve food or drink, or offer fitness or recreation activities, to check the age and vaccination status of all patrons and prohibit any unvaccinated person over the age of 5 from entering the premises. This Order goes into effect next Monday, January 3, 2022. Please note that the Order will be enforced by the Cook County Department of Public Health; the Village of Niles is not required to enforce this order. As your Mayor, I am committed to supporting our local businesses through these difficult times while keeping our residents safe.
