Smashburger Opens This Week In Oak Brook
The opening marks the fast-casual chain's seventh eatery in the Chicago area.

OAK BROOK, IL — Smashburger will open Wednesday in Oak Brook, marking the fast-casual chain’s seventh eatery in the Chicago area.
The 2,500-square-foot, 87-seat location will be open 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at 1755 22nd St. in The Overlook at Oak Brook, offering takeout and delivery.
“We’re proud of the success we’ve achieved in the Chicago area, which continues to be a strong market for us,” said Carl Bachmann, president of Smashburger, in a news release. “Oak Brook is the perfect place for the perfect burger for everyone, and we look forward to welcoming them to our new restaurant.”

Known for its burgers, which are made by smashing a ball of fresh beef on a hot seasoned grill, Smashburger also has an all-day breakfast menu, offers beverages from Miller Lite, Anti-Hero and White Claw, and serves hand-spun Häagen-Dazs milkshakes.
The Oak Brook opening coincides with National Hamburger Day on Sunday, when Smashburger will sell four burgers for $20. To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant will offer a deal where kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree, side and drink on June 7 and June 8; as well as a burger and beer for $10 deal on June 9 and a wings and beer for $10 deal June 10.
