Oak Forest Varsity Cheerleaders Wrap Up Stellar Year
The Oak Forest Varsity Cheerleaders wrapped up the end of the competitive season on a high note.

OAK FOREST , IL — The Oak Forest High School Varsity Cheerleaders wrapped up the end of their competitive season on a high note.
The team came home from the weekend's state competition with as the IHSA Medium Division State 2nd Place Runner-Up. It is the seventh state trophy that OFHS Varsity Cheer has taken home in the past 11 years, a team representative said.

- Academic Award, which means all team members maintained at least a 3.0 GPA
- SSC Sportsmanship Award
- 2019 SSC Blue Conference Champions
- 2019 IHSA Sectional Champions 2019

The 2018-2019 Cheer Team includes:

Those who are interested in being part of the team for the 2019/20 season can attend an informational meeting and clinics before trying out:
Pre-tryout Meeting: March 7, 7 p.m. at OFHS
Tryout Clinic Day 1: March 18, 6 to 8 p.m.
Tryout Clinic Day 2: March 19, 6 to 8 p.m.
Tryouts: March 21, 6 p.m.
