Harlem Avenue and 70th Street have reopened after a 5-vehicle crash involving a semi and diesel leak Tuesday, Bridgevew Police said.

BRIDGEVIEW, IL — The southbound lanes of Harlem Avenue and 70th Street have reopened after a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.

A crash involving multiple cars and semi-trailers shut down the southbound lanes of 7000 block of Harlem Avenue, police told Patch.

Bridgeview Police Chief Rick Mancha said the crash happened in the southbound lanes of the 7000 block of Harlem.

The southbound lanes are expected to be closed for several hours as crews clean up a diesel leak related to the crash.

No injuries have been reported in the crash.
