Advocate Christ Medical Center opens retail pharmacy

Advocate Christ Medical Center has opened a new retail pharmacy, now available to all patients, teammates and the community. The pharmacy offers prescription fulfillment, over-the-counter products and immunizations – including flu shots – all conveniently located on campus.

The new pharmacy enhances the discharge process by allowing patients to leave the hospital with their medications in hand, eliminating the need to make an additional stop on the way home.

“We’re excited to offer this added convenience to our patients,” said Mark Miller, President of Advocate Christ Medical Center. “The Advocate Pharmacy provides a more integrated approach to care – ensuring patients have what they need before heading home.”

The pharmacy is also open for the community for filling or refilling medications and is also available for use by hospital teammates.

The Advocate Pharmacy is located on the first floor of the Outpatient Pavilion.
