Santa And Besties Arrive On Oak Lawn Village Green For Tree Lighting, Visits
Frolic with your fave holiday characters and tell your Christmas wishes to Jolly Old St. Nick, Saturday, DEC. 6, on Oak Lawn Village Green.
OAK LAWN, IL — Santa is coming to the village green Saturday, DEC. 6, so you better not pout, behind the Oak Lawn Public Library at 94th and Cook Avenue. He will be arriving on fire truck to hear youngsters’ wishes from 2 to 5 p.m.
The Village of Oak Lawn has juiced up Santa’s annual visit by adding more characters, topped off by the lighting of the community tree.
Santa, Mrs. Claus and Frosty will be in attendance to greet families and pose for pictures, so make sure your cell phones are charged. Special guests Princess Elsa, Olaf, the Grinch, and Elf the Stilt Walker will also join the holiday fun.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. kicking off the holiday season in Oak Lawn.
