Senior Charlie Dell Named OLCHS Named September Male Athlete Of The Month

OAK LAWN, IL — Senior Charlie Dell was a model of consistency for the Oak Lawn Community High School boys golf team all season, but his month of September was something special. He averaged a nine-hole score of 41 and helped the Spartans defeat Oak Forest, Shepard, Richards, and Evergreen Park. He also won his head-to-head matchup in a match play event against Reavis.

Dell ended up finishing fifth at the South Suburban Conference Red meet at Cog Hill by shooting an 18-hole 82. Then he shot an 87 at the Illinois High School Association Regional meet, which was the Spartans best score.

As a result, Dell was named Spartan Athlete of the Month for September.
