Oak Lawn Community High School presents its fall musical 'Hadestown Teen Edition,' Oct. 23 to Oct. 25. Tickets are on sale now.

OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn Community High School students will hit the boards in the fall musical “Hadestown Teen Edition,” Oct. 23 through Oct. 25. Performances start at 7 p.m. in the OLCHS Performing Arts Center.
“Hadestown” weaves together two Greek myths, Orpheus and Eurydice, and King Hades and Persephone, with a narrator Hermes guiding the story. It depicts young lovers Orpheus and Eurydice facing hardship and Eurydice seeking security in Hades' underworld, Hadestown. Orpheus, armed with his music, undertakes a perilous journey to rescue her, while the story also explores the strained relationship between Hades and Persephone and its impact on the changing seasons.
The show features a talented cast of students from the Oak Lawn Theater Program: Olivia Lara as Hermes, Danny Cunningham as Orpheus, Gianna Golden as Eurydice, Ethan Zumhagen as Hades, Sophie Mathews as Persephone, Olivia Kobylarczyk, Lili Davis, and Emely Rodriguez as The Fates.
