Award-Winning Illustrator to Visit Dole Library in Oak Park

Oak Park, IL - Award-winning illustrator Larry Day will present Feb. 11 from 7-9 p.m. at the Dole Library, 255 Augusta Blvd in Oak Park, for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators Oak Park/Near-West Network.

This event is free and open to the public.

Larry will focus on how he approaches a manuscript, how he develops characters and settings, his interactions with the editor, art director and author, and what the time-frame is like.
