Black History is More than a Month at the Oak Park Public Library

The series kicks off Feb. 7 with a screening of a documentary by the same name — "More Than a Month."

Oak Park, IL - This February, the Oak Park Public Library is marking Black History Month by kicking off a new programming series to celebrate the black experience all year long.

Through its new series, More Than a Month, the library is moving beyond dedicating a single month to black history and achievement.

More Than a Month is the library’s new health, wellness, and black aesthetics-focused exploration of the African diaspora and its imprint on the contemporary black experience across cultures and continents.
