Forest Park Man Charged with Possession of Child Porn

Investigators traced an email to the rented home in Forest Park.

Bond was set at $20,000 Sept. 18 for a Forest Park man charged with possession of child pornography.

An investigation led law enforcement to Eric Whealdon, who reportedly used his personal email to send sexually explicit images of children to another email address, according to the office of Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez.

The Forest Park Police Department and the Cook County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force followed up on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Whealdon emailed multiple child pornography images of children younger than 13, prosecutors say.
