Free Parking Time to Increase at Two Oak Park Garages

The first 90 minutes of parking in two downtown garages will be free once signage is put in place.

Oak Park, IL - Patrons in downtown Oak Park will have a little longer to linger, with the approval of a free parking time limit increase from one hour to 90 minutes.

The Oak Park Village Board approved the extra 30 minutes during its May 2 meeting, according to the Chicago Tribune, though the change may cost the village about $100,000 annually.

The new free parking limit will take effect after new signage is put in place at the Holley Court parking garage, 1125 Ontario St., and the Lake and Forest garage, 150 Forest Ave.
