Man Wearing Fake Beard Robs Bank in Oak Park: FBI

The robbery took place Nov. 3 at US Bank.

The FBI is searching for a man who wore a fake beard during a bank robbery in Oak Park on Monday.

The robbery took place at 12:42 p.m. Nov. 2 at US Bank, 6020 West Roosevelt Road in Oak Park, according to information on the FBI-run website BanditTrackerChicago.

The robber is described as a man, 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build and brown eyes. He was wearing a hat, dark clothes and a fake beard.

The incident was described as a “non-takeover” robbery and no gun was shown.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the FBI’s Chicago office at 312-421-6700. A reward is being offered.
